Around Pétange, in central Luxembourg, you cross the Guttland: gentle hills, fields, stream valleys and stretches of forest. The loop is 8.7 km long; at a normal pace expect about 2½ hours. The route gathers about 170 m of ascent, with about half the distance away from tarmac.
The route mostly follows near-natural paths through woods and open country. Like every Auto-Pédestre, the loop is permanently waymarked with the blue symbol and can be started at any point.
