Ellange lies in the Guttland — quiet farm tracks, woodland passages and village edges give this loop its rhythm. At 9.5 km, the circuit takes roughly 2½ hours. There is barely any climbing, and most of the way follows forest and field tracks.
The route mostly follows near-natural paths through woods and open country. The circuit carries the blue Auto-Pédestre waymark throughout; being a loop, it has no fixed start.
