Elevation profile (370–420 m)

This roughly eleven-kilometre loop explores the Senningerberg plateau in the commune of Niederanven, between the edge of the Gréngewald forest and the open Syre valley. The route alternates pleasantly between woodland, farm tracks and village-edge paths with wide views over the Syrdall.

Although Findel airport sits right next door, most of the route runs through surprisingly quiet fields and woods. The forest-edge sections show how quickly you move from built-up areas into genuine countryside here — typical of the communes east of the capital.

At this length the loop makes a solid half-day walk, yet it stays free of technical difficulty. It is well served by bus, and because it is a circuit you can start it from several points.
